Emote To Me In Your Love Language
Music has a magical ability to connect people. My parents met doing musical theater (as did my grandparents) and now my sister does it professionally. Suffice to say, our house was not a quiet place. Even though I was into rap more than theater, music has bonded me to my family (Hamilton did wonders for my relationship with my sister).
Music also helps me convey my emotions. When I listen to music, it makes me feel like I’ve been taken to a different plane of existence. I find expressing my emotions through that plane way easier than saying them aloud. I like to speak in songs which is how this project was born.
